Adult Day Health Center
VCare Holyoke Adult Day Health Program provides compassionate, culturally sensitive care and services to help our participants remain healthy, independent, and safe in the community, thus improving their quality-of-life while reducing their need for frequent hospitalizations.
VCare Holyoke Adult Day Center is a facility that provides care and socialization services for elderly or disabled adults who cannot stay at home alone during the day. Our centers operate during daytime hours and provide clients with a safe and structured environment.
VCare Holyoke ADHC centers provide the following services:
Supervision and assisted with daily activities such as eating, grooming, and toileting
Socialization activities such as games, crafts, and music therapy
Health monitoring, medication management, and basic medical care
Meals and snacks
Transportation to and from the center
Our participants spend up to 6 hours in a beautiful homebound environment, surrounded by friendly, well-trained staff. Every day at VCare Holyoke Adult Day Center is filled with individual and group activities suited to the participants' needs, interests, and abilities as determined in their care plans. For example, our participants can join computer or language classes, play bingo, and domino, enjoy entertaining performances, and more!
VCare Holyoke ADHC centers are an excellent option for caregivers who need respite from caring for their loved ones or clients who need socialization and structured activities during the day. They can also be less expensive than in-home care or residential care facilities.

Daily provision of delicious meals
Door to door transportation
Social Workers' assistance (to help you obtain services from other community agencies, interpreting help with mail or other correspondence from healthcare and government agencies, and more)
Skilled Nursing Services, such as wound care, medication management, bowel/bladder training, diabetic education, daily blood sugar monitoring, regular monitoring of vital signs, personal care assistance with activities of daily living, and more
Registered Dietitian assistance which includes counseling for healthy eating habits and proper diet
